I have been following Tilly for a couple of months now and her works are my inspiration. Today is her book launch online party and I decided to participate by making a Brigitte Scarf. My friend “Amrette” was so kind enough to model my finished product with a very unique style braiding it with her hair!

While browsing through the internet for some simple recipe to try, I found this recipe from allrecipes.com doable for a lazy woman like me :)

Now instead of fettuccine pasta I used Fusilli for mine.
For the ingredients:

1. Garlic
3. Mushrooms

4. Seafood cocktail

5. Fusilli pasta, Classic Pesto, Salt, Thyme, and Ground Black Pepper to taste
Cooking Directions:
1. Cook Fusilli pasta into a boiling water with little salt and little oil (so they won't stick to each other) until cooked and firm, takes about 8 minutes.

2. I use margarine as you see instead of butter, so I melted it into saucepan. Cook the garlic until lightly brown, pour in the seafood cocktail... let it cook for about 3 minutes, then mushrooms, and finally your pesto. Add salt, sprinkle thyme and ground black pepper to taste. Voila, it's lunch time! Yummy!

Welcome 2014! I know it's a bit too late :( I realized it's March already and the first quarter of the year is almost done. It's been more than two months that I haven't written anything on my blog because of a lot of things that came along the way prevented me to sit and write here. As for my New Year's resolution - to be a better person this year than I was last year, Amen.

Now I want to share one of my passions which is.... ****drum roll**** DANCING!

I have attended my friends' beautiful wedding reception as I have mentioned here. It felt so nice to be with people I have not seen for a while, life updates, danced a little, and chatted a little. The bride was full of joy that she was teary eyed all the time. Their love has been ripened by time and family and friends were very happy for both of them.

And so, here is my first successful dress project I wore on their reception.

I want more of these! Can't wait to do more.

The Venue. Metropolitan Palace Hotel Dubai

My friends' wedding is coming up in less than three weeks and I am super duper excited about a dress I want to wear since it is going to be a fun reception at Metropolitan Palace Hotel Dubai, I want to make something special to be on their big day and be able to dance too as it is going to be a night of food, music and dancing as they expect it to be!



I know my stitching is not that good yet, and I haven't posted any of my work thus far but promise that I will do it very soon! I am just ecstatic about this number I have in mind to show you. Cross fingers hoping that it turns out to be what I envisioned it to be!
